The Women Together: Empowering Communities will provide a forum for Wataynikaneyap Power and Opiikapawiin Services to share information and updates on the Wataynikaneyap Power Transmission Project through various presentations and discussions. One of the goals of the conference is to empower women to become involved in the transmission line project, to learn about the opportunities available to them, and to promote dialogue.
Travel and accommodations will be provided for up to three people from each of the 24 First Nation Partnership communities to attend.
